Job DescriptionBe apart of a leading co-educational school in Oxford as an experienced IT Engineer, maintaining the sixth forms IT infrastructure and services.
You will be working closely with the head of IT and providing high quality service to students/staff.
You will be responsible for implementing new IT systems and improving the schools IT facility.IT Support Duties: Managing daily IT workflowMaintaining and cleansing school dataMonitoring the IT service desk answering any requests in a timely mannerHelping the 3rd line team with incidentsNetwork engineering managementSupporting students and members of staffHardware Management (phones, computers ,laptops ,printers)IT Event management for various school eventsBudget allocationsAssist the IT helpdeskHeath & Safety, Child Protection and Safeguarding PoliciesContribute to the success of external inspections (OFSTED,UKVI)Staff training & Development Systems Administration: Administration of the Schools Management Information System (iSAMS)Administration of users (Active Directory / Azure Active Directory)Administration of mailboxes (Microsoft 365)Administration of devicesAdministration of other school softwareAdministration and monitoring of the school network, Firewall, WiFi Qualifications: BSc or Diploma in IT or equivalentCISCO certificationsCompTIA certifications Experience: 2 years experience in a similar position/environment2 years experience in troubleshooting2 years experience in network infrastructure2 years experience on configuration of Firewall and network filtering changes Skillset: Microsoft Windows serverMicrosoft Applications (365, Office, Excel)Apple Mac OSXTCP/IPAdobe Creative CloudBackupsCyber security & Antivirus software's Personal Attribute: Exceptional communication skillsTeam playerWell organisedWork independentlyPositive and energeticAdaptableCustomer focused Benefits: 9-5 PM with overtime (must be flexible to suit school demands)Mon-Fri£33,000 per annum including pensionFree lunchesGym/healthcare discounts
