The Opportunity: Reporting to the Group CIO, the IT Director will lead the technology vision, strategy, and development for the Escode business driving innovation and growth.
You will be responsible for leading our technology team driving continual good practice across all areas of our technical delivery during a time of considerable change and technology consolidation.
Drive in the changes required to support the consolidation process in terms of systems, data, process and people.
Key Accountabilities: Lead the Escode technology team to deliver the services required by the business to operate.Provide the technical vision and strategy for the business, aligning it with the overall business objectives.Develop an achievable and realistic technology roadmap, ensuring that tech architecture supports the business priorities.Transformation of technology and digital services and building new services that are required by a stand-alone business.Working closely with teams across the business and group IT – ensuring an open, cohesive, and collaborative approach is maintained.Implementing and managing effective change and release management and information and security processes and procedures.Working closely with Marketing, Business Development and Sales to define and deliver process improvement and new products.Project and programme management of complex, interdependent activities and technologies, with hybrid resources (outsourced, internal, contract, partners).Accountable for the business information, data and reporting to serve the business requirements.Responsible for IT Security & IT risk management in line with regional best practices and local regulations.Accountable for ensuring compliance of IT systems, processes and policies with regional, statutory and regulatory requirements.Negotiating all IT supplier contracts and ensuring that the group receives appropriate levels of service and maximum value.Working closely with other IT and business leadership and resources outside the direct business collaboratively to achieve successful outcomes.Minimum Requirements: Previous experience of being in a leadership role within a technology function that delivers complex digital and technology services to a global business.Proven experience leading a multi-disciplinary IT function or similar senior leadership role.The ability to develop and deliver a technology strategy that aligns with a business strategy.Experience of leading on M&A and integration activity.Direct line management of technical resources and being able to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical colleagues across the business.Understand core IT policies, standards and processes and their importance in delivering a good service to the business.Stakeholder management across the organisation and within a global function.Demonstrable understanding of budgets and business-planning.Demonstrable experience in a company that has globalised as part of its growth is required.Working knowledge of GDPR and an appreciation for data governance standards, controls and requirements and how they are factored into design activity.Behaviours: Focusing on Clients and CustomersWorking as One NCCBeing Inclusive and RespectfulDelivering BrilliantlyLooking ExternallyAbout NCC Group The NCC Group family has over 2,200 members located all around the world, providing a trusted advisory service to 15,000 customers.
