This IT Business Systems Analyst role offers a great deal of autonomy, training and support when needed, as well as the opportunity for the role to become broader as the company grows.
The scope of the role is varied and will include: Ensure robust and high performing IT systems are in place.
Maintain and upgrade systems.
Internal responsibility for company's Finance, HR and business systems.
Identify, propose, prioiritise and implement improvement opportunities.
Evaluate IT risks and develop remediation plans, system documentation, BIA and continuity planning.
Responsibility for ensuring systems are fit for purpose.
Be the point of escalation for all technical issues for business systems.
Delivering comprehensive 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line support.
Deliver training to facilitate efficient utilisation of systems and ensure high awareness of cyber and other security threats.
Assist in managing IT contracts and third-party relationships.
Oversight of system architecture, integrations and regulatory requirements.
Evaluation opportunities for process improvement and new technology.
Create and supervise system test plans.
Input into the IT budget.
Resolve other day to day issues as and when they arise.
A solid technical background is important.
You'll be used to supporting and developing IT systems that are under regulatory control and have experience that includes roles such as a Business Systems Analyst or IT / Business Systems Manager.
Operating Cloud only, the experience we're looking for includes: Working with/for a startup/scale-up organisation Experience of IT systems for Pharma/Biotech Understanding of ITIL framework Creation of IT system documentation, policies and SOP System validation testing Power BI reporting useful You'll be a problem solver, who is able to take initiative and respond to rapidly changing priorities.
Having the ability to influence across various functions and levels, and being comfortable working in a fast-paced environment is essential.
