This role offers an exciting entry into IT within an organisation that values development, well-being, and excellence.
What Youll Be Doing: 1st Line Support: Provide essential first-line support to staff and students, including password resets and account setup using Active Directory.
Conduct basic hardware repairs such as screen replacements and RAM/memory upgrades.
Software Upgrades and Updates: Manage software updates across systems, including upgrades to Windows 11, ensuring consistency and security across all devices.
Batch Scripting & Imaging: Work on system imaging and mirroring for new starters, students, and teachers to standardise systems and security protocols.
Networks & Servers: Assist in maintaining physical servers and support the transition to virtual servers as part of a 12-month project.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience with server management and virtualisation.
Microsoft Technologies: Gain hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Intune, and Azure, supporting cloud solutions across the schools IT network.
Desired Skills, Qualities, and Experience: Interest in IT:A passion for technology and problem-solving.
Basic Windows Knowledge:Familiarity with Windows operating systems.
Communication Skills:Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
Entry Requirements:A GCSE Grade 5/C in English and 4/C in Maths.
