- Ensure the confidentiality and security of all student information.
- Generate reports and extracts as required for academic and administrative purposes.
- Coordinate with academic departments to ensure timely and accurate data entry and reporting.
- Handle requests for student transcripts, certificates, and other documentation.Training and Support: - Train and guide other departments on the effective use of the student management system.
- Provide ongoing support to staff members, addressing any queries or issues related to the system.
- Develop and update training materials and documentation to facilitate system usage.Device Management and Replacement: - Coordinate with the IT department to address any hardware issues or requirements, such as replacing monitors, mice, keyboards, etc.
- Assist in the inventory management of IT equipment and ensure timely replacements as needed.General Administrative Duties: - Respond to enquiries from staff, students, and external stakeholders regarding student records and information.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery related to student administration.
- Assist in the planning and execution of student-related events and functions, such as enrolment, graduation, and orientation.
- Maintain an organized filing system for student documentation and correspondence.Continuous Improvement: - Stay updated with the latest trends in educational administration and student management systems.
- Recommend and implement improvements to existing administrative processes related to student management.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance student administrative functions.Qualifications and Experience: - A minimum of a diploma or equivalent in IT or Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience in an administrative role with a focus on student management, preferably within an educational institution.
- Proficient in using student management systems and standard office software.
