Duties of the Press Brake Operator: Use and interpret customer supplied engineering drawings to determine the fabrication, joining and assembly of components.
Work with dimensional tools such as rulers, calculators, set squares etc.
to determine individual part and batch dimensional compliance to customer drawings.
Set and operate hydraulic press brakes Fasten and join seams in sheet metal with solder, welds, inserts etc.
ensuring work is done carefully and that the joins will last.
Assembly of individual metal components in compliance to customer specifications and drawings.
Use hand and power tools to trim, buff, smooth, file and grind metal surfaces and joints of parts that have been assembled to ensure safety and a seamless appearance Select the appropriate type and gauge of sheet metal to be used in projects according to specifications Ensure safety is a priority during all manufacturing processes.
Ensure that work is conducted in an efficient and professional manner and that areas under your control are kept clean and tidy.
Additional Information for the Press Bake Operator: Permanent Role Monday to Friday 08.00 - 16.00 £14.75 Per Hour (£30,000 Per Annum) Candidates must have previous experience.
