Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced International Order and Logistics Manager to take ownership of the order and logistics process for a cutting-edge gene therapy product.
In this exciting role, you will be at the heart of the logistics journey, ensuring a seamless experience from order input and monitoring to final delivery.
You will play a key role in aligning and communicating with internal and external stakeholders, troubleshooting any challenges that arise, and continuously improving the entire process.
Collaboration will be key as you work closely with cross-functional teams across Europe and the USA, including Manufacturing, Commercial Operations, External Service Providers, and Quality.
? What You Will Do: Lead the Cell Journey: Take charge of the entire logistics process for our gene therapy product, ensuring timely and efficient order management from start to finish.
Work closely with internal stakeholders and treatment centers to monitor and resolve issues in real-time, making sure each patient's journey is as smooth as possible.
Stay ahead of any challenges by proactively anticipating needs and adjusting the process to deliver optimal results.
Capacity & Transportation Booking: Play a key role in supporting capacity bookings with Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) for each patient.
Provide valuable forecasts and insights to suppliers, ensuring optimal capacity and supply alignment.
Collaborate with Global Logistics to ensure timely, on-time deliveries of shipments, every time.
Optimize Performance & Processes: Constantly monitor the flow of orders and identify opportunities to improve logistics performance and process efficiency.
Drive enhancements in our order management system, handling exceptions and proposing solutions to continuously elevate performance.
Be a key player in process improvements, supporting Finance with intercompany invoicing and engaging in new customer logistics trial shipments.
What You Bring: Educational Background: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences or equivalent experience in the Biopharmaceutical industry.
Experience & Expertise: Proven experience in logistics coordination, production/operations planning, or customer service in the biopharma sector.
Solid understanding of GMP standards and biopharma product handling.
Demonstrated experience working with commercial operations and executing SOPs.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and material ordering portals.
Skills & Traits: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills to anticipate risks and find solutions before they arise.
Exceptional organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Clear and confident communication skills – you'll be working with a variety of teams across the globe, so being able to adapt your communication style is key.
