Internal Sales Manager Construction/Building Merchants

A balustrade manufacturer catering to the domestic and commercial industries across the UK is looking for an Internal Sales Manager to join the dynamic and fast-paced team that will be responsible for developing theteam and driving new business.
Based in Blindley Heath, this position is well suited for a technical or mechanical qualified Team leader with experience managing sales teams selling products to the construction and related building sectors.
What youll do as Internal Sales Manager: Lead and develop the team to become more efficient in qualifying and managing leads.
Recruit and train Internal Consultants.
Analyse the existing processes and procedures and provide guidance to the internal team to increase business.
Identify marketing trends and opportunities, and report these to the marketing department to develop new strategies.
Improve relationships with current partners and identify new partners and channels.
Were looking for an Internal Sales Manager with: Experience in technical sales management selling into the construction, building merchant, home building or similar industries.
Experience in developing sales teams in dealing with leads effectively.
Strong sales and customer service skills are required.
Confident phone manners and has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Effective time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage workloads efficiently.
Proficiency in sales and CRM software including all Microsoft programmes.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
This is a full-time, office-based role working Monday-Friday, 08:30-17:30.
