We are looking for an individual to support our business growth and drive us forward through efficiency and improvements in our existing systems, workflow, or infrastructure.The Internal Project Manager will oversee and manage projects that have been approved by the Business Change Team.
This role requires a skilled Project Manager who can collaborate effectively with technical teams, stakeholders, Business Change leaders, and department heads to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.These projects will typically be within specific domains (e.g., IT, network, automation) to improve operational efficiencies or upgrade infrastructure.
These projects are usually contained within a single department or function, such as IT or Systems, and are aligned with ongoing operational goals.If you want to further your career from a vibrant and fast-paced organisation, this might be the role for you.Responsibilities (but not limited to):Project PlanningDevelop detailed project plans outlining tasks for workstreams, aligning the relevant resource, along with the key milestones.Conduct thorough due diligence to assess risks within the project.Identify key stakeholders and establish clear communication channels to facilitate collaboration and alignment through the process.Stakeholder ManagementBe the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders involved in your projects.Communicate project status, risks and key decisions to senior management and other relevant stakeholders.Collaborate with the Business Change team or other departments to ensure projects align with larger Operational goals.Process Improvement and Efficiency InitiativesIdentify opportunities to streamline project workflows or automate tasks where possible within projects.Implement best practices in project management to enhance efficiency, quality, and consistency across projects.Work closely with the technical teams to evaluate processes that could be optimised for better performance.Change Management SupportCoordinate with the Business Change team or relevant stakeholders to manage the impact of project outcomes on users.Help develop communication plans, training resources, and support materials to facilitate smooth transitions.Ensure that change initiatives related to the project are communicated clearly and effectively alongside the Business Change Manager.Documentation and ReportingPrepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including plans, schedules, progress reports, and post-project evaluations.Provide status reports to stakeholders, summarising project achievements, timelines, and any challenges encountered.Ensure documentation is accessible and up to date, making it easy for teams to reference project information.Project Closure and EvaluationConduct post-project reviews to assess project outcomes, successes, and areas for improvement.Capture lessons learned and document recommendations to inform future projects.Ensure all project deliverables are completed, resources are reallocated, and project documentation is finalised.QualificationsThe successful candidate will have:3+ years MSP ExperienceSignificant Project Management experienceExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.Eagerness to learn and develop both themselves and the business.Reliable and approachable.The ability to remain calm under pressure, command respect, have the confidence of their colleagues & be able to communicate effectively at all levels.Confidence in making decisions and follow up their decisions with action to achieve objectives.Capable of working with minimum supervision.Demonstrated ability to positively influence and work collaboratively with all levels of an organisation to achieve improved business outcomes.
