The Role Are you a natural storyteller with experience writing engaging internal communications? We are seeking a dynamic Internal Communications Executive with creative flair to join our team.
In this role you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact by playing a pivotal part in enhancing internal communication strategies and facilitating a cohesive work environment.
Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer and partnering closely with our Senior Leadership Team, you will lead on initiatives to deliver authentic internal communication to colleagues globally.  Responsibilities include: Writing all internal communications including our monthly colleague and separate monthly manager updates.
Maintain our internal channels including the intranet (Google sites), Slack, internal newsletters, and Town Hall (Google Live).
Structuring and delivering the global Town Halls.   Working with several senior stakeholders and providing them with best practice Internal Communications guidance.  Creating and delivering internal campaigns that will align colleagues to our key strategies and programmes.
Deliver internal communications that inspire belief in the purpose and strategy of Smart, finding innovative and compelling ways to connect company wide initiatives across all our offices.
Handle the internal communication response to crisis situations.
Organise and run all annual events - Summer/Christmas party and the Smart Awards.

Experience of working in an Internal Comms role.
Strong communication skills, with exceptional written English, attention to detail, and proficiency in G Suite.
Ability to build effective relationships with team members and stakeholders.
Understanding of global communication dynamics, including cultural sensitivity and time zone considerations.
Demonstrated experience in developing and enhancing employer value proposition.  A background in a technology business is advantageous.
Familiarity with the financial services or pensions industry is a plus.
