Job Description Do you want a new leadership role where you can make a difference in the lives of people with learning disabilities?
\n I am recruiting a CARING and PASSIONATE Manager for Adult Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs services.
The service, which is located in Colwyn Bay, supports adults aged between 18 - 65.
The service is looking for candidates with a caring nature and the ability to have fun and engage with the people they support.
\n Service Managers work alongside the Area Manager and the Senior Leadership team, enabling the Support teams to deliver quality service to the people who they support.
Home Managers are also responsible for managing and building positive relationships with all stakeholders and putting our vision and values into action to deliver first-class service.
\n \n Salary: £30,000 - £31,000 \n Hours: Full-Time \n Contract: Interim (6 months) \n Shifts: 40 hours a week \n Location: Colwyn Bay \n \n Benefits of the Service Manager: \n \n Enhancements for some bank holidays \n Occupational sick pay.

\n \n As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for the following: \n \n A commitment to enabling people to live independent lives both within their homes and the wider community.
\n You ideally will have achieved a QCF level 3 in Health and Social Care \n Commitment to Continuous Professional Development \n Good Communication and networking skills and the ability to deal with people at all levels.
\n A flexible approach to work and the needs of the service \n Computer Literate and have knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office packages including Excel and Outlook.
\n A positive attitude to change and embracing new systems.
\n \n Requirements: \n \n QCF level 3 in Health and Social Care \n Previous experience as a deputy or service manager \n Must be resilient \n Drivers are ESSENTIAL due to the nature of the role.
