Your primary responsibility is to oversee and continuously enhance IT supply chain services, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives, cost management and seamless, efficient operations across all supply chain functions.
In this senior leadership role, the successful candidate will design, implement, and govern compliant, scalable processes that maximize service quality, optimize delivery, and ensure continuity of IT services across BAU and M&A scenarios.
Reporting to the Chief Procurement Officer, this role is a Fixed Term Contract (until June 2025) , with one direct report, and a wider team of 8 overseas.
Responsibilities Develop and lead strategic roadmap for IT supply Chain with a focus on optimising existing KSI's and services, and future-proofing the function.
Define and implement a team structure and technology resources (new and existing) to best support the business Ensure strategy is developed in collaboration and fully aligned with Group IT and key stakeholders Establish a robust reporting and cadence approach to best leverage insight and improvement from data Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Supply Chain professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and operational excellence.
Collaborate with stakeholders outside of procurement to ensure IT services effectively support supply chain needs, enabling smooth operational execution.
Oversee and ensure continuity of supply chain IT services, minimizing disruptions through best-in-class service continuity practices and proactive change management.
Implement and monitor clear SLA/KPI led ITSM processes that align BAU supply chain functions, Operational IT, and other stakeholders, ensuring seamless adaptation to new processes and solutions.
Develop a senior-level framework for incident and problem management, prioritizing rapid resolution to maintain high service levels across the supply chain.
Act as an escalation point for troubleshooting and problem-solving activities, ensuring timely resolution of IT-related issues impacting the supply chain.
Track, analyse and report on IT service performance metrics, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Provide regular insights and strategic updates to senior leadership, proactively identifying risks and service improvement opportunities.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT service processes, decisions, configurations, and changes, fostering transparency and consistency.
Oversee knowledge transfer activities to ensure seamless continuity of ITSM practices within the supply chain.
Experience and key skills required Demonstrable expertise in IT / Supply Chain service management leadership at a Senior Management or Director level.
Proven ability to manage large-scale global IT services for supply chain functions, including complex system integrations and service migrations.
Experience in achieving and exceeding SLAs and KPIs for ITSM across supply chain functions Deep expertise in ITSM frameworks and methodologies, with a strong command of IT service practices tailored to the supply chain Advanced exposure to IT integration within complex supply chains – including continuous improvement efforts thereafter Solid background in timely resolution of high-priority incidents Strong project management experience, certification in PMP, Prince2 or equivalent advantageous Comfortable working in an ambiguous environment often with constant change and challenging timelines Comfortable with defining and delivering transformation Experience of turning around poor performing functions Ability to engage stakeholders at all levels of the business, building strong relationships in often complex, fast-paced environments.
Robust knowledge of hardware and software products Good understanding of Service Now and other supply chain automation tools.
