The Golden Jubilee National Hospital 20 theatres; 10 dedicated to Orthopaedic surgery.
About the RoleAs the SCN/SCODP, you will be responsible for the daily management of Orthopaedic theatres whilst ensuring patients receive a high standard of safe, effective and person centred care.
This involves not only leading the team within theatres but developing close links with in-patient and out-patient wards, the service team and booking office, to enable a smooth patient flow resulting in excellent patient outcomes.
You will play a pivotal role in the provision of the Orthopaedic surgery service as we increase the number of theatres utilised.
You should be able to demonstrate a strong track record of leadership and managing a team, particularly through change.
A commitment to quality, evidence-based care is essential, whilst having a 'can-do' attitude.You will be integral in the delivery of the strategic vision and plan for the hospital, particularly in relation to the expansion of the theatre department.
