About the role The I2P Process Improvement Lead will be responsible for transforming Cero's invoice to payment processes (invoice receipt, approval, coding, payment, tracking and audit trails). You will take stock of the current landscape, before delivering an efficient, "right first time" process that is operable across Cero's various platforms and enhances the financial control framework. Collaborating with the Cero team and our outsourced service providers, you will investigate the status quo and propose and implement sustainable, scalable solutions. This will involve the selection and implementation of a suitable software solution for Cero's I2P process (e.g. invoice tracking and approval software). Within a young team in a fast-moving business, you'll take responsibility for your project from day one and be given the autonomy to make your mark on the business quickly.
Main accountabilities Document the current landscape: Spend time to understand our current I2P processes and document these. Define our goals: Collaborate with Finance leaders and other key stakeholders to define the key outcomes/success criteria of the project. Identify potential solutions: Propose possible tools and process improvements, identifying the fit, timescale, resourcing and pros/cons of each solution. Lead the solution selection process: Identify the most suitable system solution(s) that will offer efficiency and longevity to Cero's I2P processes. Define and lead the implementation programme: Once a solution has been selected, lead a successful implementation programme from RFP to full integration. Reporting: Produce progress reporting for Finance leadership as the project develops. What will you need to succeed in the role? Experience (essential): Extensive hands-on experience in building and improving I2P processes with knowledge across the spectrum of scale and automation. Expert in identification and implementation of I2P software solutions. Understanding of European payment methods and processes. Expert in delivery methodologies and change management. Experience in a young, highly complex group with a vast entity structure and multiple I2P processes. Skills: Energetic and highly motivated. Ability to cut through complexity and constraints to solve problems and define simple, standardised solutions. You thrive in a complex, fast-paced environment.
