Job Title: Interim Head of Finance (6-9 months)Location: Manchester (1 day per week)Day Rate: £400-£500 per day DOEStart: JanuaryCK10055Finatal is partnering with an FMCG business who are experiencing rapid growth.
They are currently pursing some exciting acquisition opportunities as well as investment from Private Equity investors.
In order to achieve their objectives, they are seeking an experienced Interim Head of Finance to help lead from the front.
Key experiences include having fundraising and PE exposure as you will be instrumental in helping the company receive PE investment.
Additionally, experience with M&A is highly desirable.Key Responsibilities:Lead the day-to-day finance operations, ensuring timely and accurate month-end reporting.Oversee and enhance financial controls, processes, and systems to support scalability.Manage the finance team, providing leadership and support to ensure high performance.Support the preparation of statutory accounts in line with UK GAAPProvide detailed financial analysis to assist in strategic decision-making for the senior leadership team.Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on budget forecasts, financial planning, and cash flow management.Assist with audits, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.Skills & Experience Required:ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.Strong technical accounting skills, including statutory reporting and consolidations.Prior experience in a Private Equity-backed business is highly desirable.
