The information below provides more detail about the role and you may also wish to learn a little more about working for South Hampshire College Group by viewing the below video.We offer great benefits including;50 days annual leave (including Bank Holidays)Pension fund of up to 27.01% per annum.Regular training and development.Duties:To assist the Curriculum Director in the management and review of the curriculum in accordance with College policies.To undertake a teaching programme and all aspects of the teaching and learning process.To act as a Course Leader for designated courses.To participate in liaison activities associated with the programme area and those relating to the College provision.Develop and maintain professional competence in the post and in other duties performed on behalf of the Curriculum of the College.Undertake Performance and People Management.Skills/Experience:Excellent knowledge of recent initiatives in curriculum development & design.Experience of leading teams. Previous teaching experience.Qualifications:Level 3 qualification in the relevant area of expertise (or commitment to achieving this in the required timeframe).Level 5 Teaching qualification (or commitment to achieving this in the required timeframe).Relevant degree and/or appropriate level professional qualifications.Ideal Attributes:Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people at all ages and levels.Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines within a busy environment.Innovative and creative approach to work.Flexibility in approach.We reserve the right to close this vacancy early if we receive sufficient applications for the role.
