Interim Commercial Finance Lead Responsible for all aspects of sales and margin 5 Direct Reports Large Retail Group Excellent Daily Rate 3-6 Month Assignment Are you an experienced Commercial Finance Manager with extensive retail experience and a thought leader for driving profitable trade?
Our client is a large retail group and a household name serving a niche market.
Due to a skills gap which is being addressed, the business requires an experience Commercial Finance lead to support the Commercial Director and Trading Directors in all aspects of sales and margin.
The business is at a key stage of their transformation journey impacting improved systems, controls and processes and a large part of this role is focused on improving reporting and controls across all aspects of their commercial income recognition.
Retail and commercial experience is absolutely essential and a pre-requisite for selection.
Alongside your vertical and functional experience, you will be able to exhibit gravitas and authority and be able to build a network and rapport with the business quickly and establish yourself as part of the Senior Leadership Team.
In addition, you will have great written and verbal influencing skills in order to drive trading and group meetings that you will lead.
This is a really interesting time to be supporting the business on its transformation journey and be providing the commercial team with invaluable support and leadership.
This is a 3 - 6 month assignment and attracts a very competitive daily rate.
Only candidates with extensive retail experience will be considered.
