Interaction Designer - SC Cleared - Contract
Role: Interaction Designer (Mid-Level & Senior)
Contract Type: 12-Month Contract
Location: London (one day a month in the office)
Salary: Mid-Level: £67,500 per annum Senior: £75,000 per annum Key Responsibilities: Design and prototype user interactions that are functional, accessible, and meet user needs.
Collaborate with researchers, content designers, service designers, and developers to deliver user-centered solutions.
Translate user research findings into design decisions that improve usability and functionality.
Advocate for user needs and accessibility standards, ensuring compliance with public sector guidelines.
Iterate on designs based on feedback, usability testing, and performance data.
Contribute to and maintain design systems and interaction patterns.
Mid-Level Candidates: Proven experience as an Interaction Designer or similar role.
Proficiency in wireframing, prototyping, and design tools such as Figma or Adobe XD.
Understanding of user-centered design principles and accessibility standards.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Senior Candidates: All the above, plus: Experience mentoring or leading junior designers.
Demonstrated expertise in designing complex digital services.
Ability to manage stakeholder relationships and present design decisions effectively.
