We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Thurrock to assist with the appointment of an Intelligence Officer on a 3-month contract , highly likely to be extended at the client's discretion.

Rate of Pay: £22.00 - £28.06 per Hour
Responsibilities: Work within all legal frameworks, key working principles, policies and guidance to ensure information and intelligence is handled and processed legally.
Analyse a wide range of data from a variety of sources for sensitive and complex investigations in respect of incidents affecting the public sector.
Collate and validate intelligence, evaluating the credibility of information.
Analyse the activities of individuals, groups and organisations through the application of recognised analytical techniques and methodology.
Evaluate the significance of patterns and trends.
Qualifications: Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, with all levels of the organisation and outside agencies.
Must demonstrate good listening skills.
Knowledge of economic crime and its effects on local and central government.
Previous experience working as an intelligence officer or analyst.
