We currently have an opportunity to join Nottinghamshire Police Force Intelligence with a permanent post for the role of Intelligence Officer based at Sherwood Lodge.
The post shift pattern includes 1 weekend every 4, and 5 afternoon shifts within the pattern.
Working within Force Intelligence, you will provide an intelligence assessment, research, development, and dissemination function.
You will be involved in the management and handling of sensitive intelligence products, information from UK Police Forces and Law Enforcement agencies such as EMSOU, the NCA and international partners.
You will be responsible for the effective co-ordination of intelligence management, compiling intelligence-based research, assisting in OCG management, lead development, producing briefing materials, producing evidential ANPR products, and ensuring the safe handling of sensitive information on Police systems.
Applicants must have experience of both researching information from a variety of sources, as well as interrogating, maintaining and utilising data on a variety of computerised systems.
They must be able to prepare detailed reports and present information in a variety of formats.
A good understanding of database or record management systems/IT applications and the ability to work both as part of a team, as well as alone, are key requirements.
