Description Keoghs is looking to recruit an Intel Analyst to join our busy, fast paced and growing Intelligence Team.
The Intel Analyst will work on a variety of claims ranging from motor fraud, credit hire, EL PL and more complex injury matters (and potentially more!).
The role involves identifying the appropriate and relevant intelligence evidence from a wide range of resources that ultimately assists with the decision making process required to drive our cases to a resolution.
On the receipt of bespoke instructions, the Intel Analyst will undertake a variety of searches and will need to capture all intelligence evidence relevant to a claim and evidence the same whether that be in internal reports / pictorial format / formal statements.
In addition, the Intel Analyst will be required to provide ad hoc intelligence for internal and external customers as required.
Key Accountabilities Analysing claims files and providing reports and information to Clients and File Handlers as to the outcome of the analysis.
Using desktop systems and analytical techniques to research and locate relevant information that will validate or rule out concerns and / or detect potentially fraudulent information.
Compiling reports/profiles on individuals and groups involved in suspected fraudulent activity Preparing witness evidence (including statements) in order to adduce the results of analysis in Court proceedings (generally civil proceedings) where necessary Utilising IT software applications at an advanced level in order to produce proactive intelligence reports (e.g.
iBase, i2 Analysts Notebook, Excel) Delivering structured and detailed briefings to lawyers and clients on all key facts relating to specific investigations as required Preparing reports detailing Intelligence led fraud risk assessments in relation to Insurance Fraud and fraud ring investigations Producing reports/briefings in accordance with the Intelligence Cycle and utilising the NIM (National Intelligence Model) Where appropriate, mentoring Trainee analysts on an informal basis Achieving a daily chargeable target Compliance with service level agreements as required on a client specific basis and in accordance with internal benchmarks Time recording in accordance with Keoghs policy WORKING HOURS 35 hours per week Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm with 1 unpaid hour for lunch.
Primary location for this role is Parklands, Bolton Office.
We are agile workers - currently working from home with attendance at the office at least 1 day per week.
Experience, Skills and Qualifications Understanding of legal framework within which intelligence can be disclosed.
Drafting comprehensive and professional reports summarising key issues.
Basic level of commercial awareness.
Communication skills – verbal and written.
Good telephone manner.
Confidence and ability to liaise with clients/customers when presenting a reasoned, logical argument.
Working to tight deadlines and under pressure.
