Position: Integration Solution Architect
Location: Manchester, 2 days onsite
Our client is a forward-thinking organisation focused on building a connected Britain, where innovation supports a smarter and more sustainable future.
Although relatively new, they're tackling a bold mission: to create a universal, secure network reaching 30 million homes and businesses, making it the largest of its kind in the country.

Role Responsibilities:
Work closely with subject matter experts within the organisations, external design teams, and Enterprise IT stakeholders to ensure solutions are comprehensive and feasible Provide oversight and guidance to third-party design teams, ensuring their outputs comply with the company established governance frameworks, technical standards, and quality controls Identify existing design frameworks and patterns, making improvements where necessary to support scalability and innovation.
Establish best practices that provide a robust foundation for future developments and seamless system integration Produce detailed technical documentation, including both overarching architectural designs and specific implementation details.
Review and validate designs from third parties to ensure they align with the company's principles Engage directly in design and development activities where needed to ensure alignment with the company's principles.
Provide practical support to address challenges and facilitate the successful delivery of solutions What are we looking for?

Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, and managing large-scale integration projects at enterprise level over a minimum of five years Comprehensive understanding of agile methodologies and DevOps practices, with hands-on experience in delivering solutions within dynamic, fast-moving teams Proficiency in Microsoft technologies to develop, manage and optimise integrations, including data transformations, analytics and workflow automation within cloud-based environments (Microsoft Power Platform, Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Integrations Services) Skilled in creating detailed technical documentation that effectively communications architectural visions across high-level and low-level design documentation Strong technical expertise in integration frameworks, especially REST, with the ability to design and implement seamless communication between systems and services
