INTEGRATED MIDWIFE Band 6 - £ 39,912 - £48,635 per annum Plus £1,349 Distant Island Allowance per annum Fixed Term contract for 10 months 37 hours a week Secondment opportunity also considered Also suitable for newly qualified midwives at Band 5 £ 31,892 to £39,735 per annum We are looking for flexible, enthusiastic and motivated midwives, preferably with post registration experience, to join our midwifery team.
There will be an opportunity to provide care in all areas relating to midwifery practice.
Applicants should be committed to providing a high standard of care and interact well with a multi-disciplinary team.
There is an on-call commitment to this post.
Continuous professional development is actively encouraged and supported through in-house programmes and Institutes of Higher Education.
Applicant must be a car owner and in possession of a full UK driving licence.
A clean UK driving license is essential for the post.

Closing Date: 05 / 11/2024 NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay.
This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff.
This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours.
However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
