Job Title: Instrument Technician 32369 Location:  Rugby Salary:  £41,265 - £48,547 basic (OTE £50k-£60k incl.
overtime and standby) + Company Van + Fuel Card Contract Type:  Permanent Hours:  8:00 am - 4:00 pm (Overtime paid outside of these hours) Are you ready for a hands-on role working at the heart of the UK's gas transmission network?
As an  Instrument Technician , you'll focus on maintaining and upgrading vital  compressor stations  and  above ground installations  that power the nation's energy infrastructure.

Your Role: As an Instrument Technician, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining, repairing, and upgrading the  compressor stations  and  above-ground installations  that are essential to the National Transmission System.
These high-pressure systems ensure gas flows smoothly across the UK's pipeline network, supporting homes, businesses, and industries.
Key responsibilities include: Installing, commissioning, maintaining, and repairing  safety, control, and measurement systems  at our compressor stations and above ground installations.
Acting as a  site controller , issuing permits, and ensuring the safe operation of works.
Conducting  isolations  and supporting construction and commissioning of new assets.
Travelling across the  Rugby region , covering different sites and receiving ongoing training to develop your expertise.
Standby Rota  standby ranges between 1 week in 4 to 1 week in 6 depending on team size.
