Instrument Engineer

Mane Energy are seeking a skilled Instrument Engineer to join our team in Aberdeen.
This role is ideal for an experienced engineer with a background in fire detection and alarm systems, along with a solid foundation in instrumentation and control engineering principles and their practical applications.
Responsibilities: Perform fault finding and troubleshooting on Fire and Gas systems Support project development, system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
Act as the focal point for clients regarding Fire and Gas Systems, ensuring effective communication and project delivery Qualifications & Skills: Experience in modifying existing equipment and specifying new instrumentation.
Proven track record in delivering Fire and Gas Systems, as well as Field Instrumentation (pressure, level, temperature, and flow).
Knowledge of relevant legislation and standards, including Functional Safety Management (IEC 61508 & IEC 61511).
Education: Degree or HNC in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
Previous experience in an engineering environment, ideally within the energy sector.
