The purpose of this role is to enhance Customer and other stakeholders' experience by ensuring that products are successfully delivered and that any sites related issues are resolved timeously.
The Installation Lead is a skilled tradesperson who has constructed and installed wooden structures like doors, windows, cabinets, and trim within a building, while also fitting and securing all necessary hardware components such as hinges, handles, locks, bolts, closures and other components to ensure proper functionality; essentially combining the carpentry skills of a joiner with the precise installation abilities needed to fit hardware elements.
The Installer will extend our quality assurance processes to installation through onsite training and support and provide continuous improvement feedback to designers and the operations.
To be a successful Installation Lead you require the following skills & attributes: Skilled joiner with significant architectural hardware installation experience in high end residential applications.
You will be a good trainer capable of instructing our contractors joiners and internal teams in the correct processes to install our product.
Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, Customer orientated attitude.
Ability to work well under pressure.
Attention to detail, excellent time management and organisation skills.
Working as a Team is crucial.
Exposure to operations and planning functions will be an advantage as this role will liaise closely with Operations and Project Consultant teams.
Please note that you must be willing to spend 50/50 time in Crawley and London Responsibilities: Maintenance and rejuvenation of existing samples Contractor/Joiner Site installation team training and support Internal and external problem solving Internal training and product development and product improvement Onsite product or installation defect repairs Facilities maintenance Willing to travel to various sites in and around London Planned product maintenance, setting, lubricating Scheduled site support visits including provision of spares Education/Work Experience Requirements: Required: Carpentry or joinery trained with broad best practise experience installing high end architectural hardware.
Contract work in construction environment Technical knowledge of Ironmongery and architectural hardware, functional and decorative Has delivered training or technical support to installation teams UK drivers' license with clean record Nice to have: Bespoke joinery and hardware specification and design knowledge Customer support experience Process oriented Metal finishing experience Passion for high end bespoke joinery and hardware creations Hours 07:30-16:30 Monday to Friday Please note that visa sponsorship is not provided.
