Inspector

Your responsibilities and duties may include the following: Undertake and complete a detailed inspection of all components using latest criteria and Inspection equipmentCreation and modification of component overhaul / Repair routes within SAP as requiredEnsuring that all information (I.E.
P/N, S/N and Condition) is recorded in the shop Repair Order and on LTLGS SAP systemCarry out accurate measurement of components where required due to workloadWork to Production priority lists – ASPEN, Milestone dates as provided by Production ControlInterface with Technical engineering, and other production departments where necessaryOther duties as directed by the Section Manager, Team Leader or Leading HandTrain and mentor other team personnel within the role subject to your qualifications and experience The ideal Inspector must fulfill the following requirements: Aerospace apprenticeship would be desirableMaths and English GCSE A-C Grades equivalent'A' Level or equivalent qualification in an engineering subject would be desirableExtensive experience within an Aerospace Engineering or equivalent environmentPrevious mechanical component inspection backgroundPC literatePrevious experience working within an SAP computer system would advantageousGood knowledge of inspection techniques and equipmentPrevious practical experience using imperial measureent toolsPrevious knowledge of manuals and Boeing websitesShift work.
Monday – Friday or Tuesday - SaturdayFurther trainings required * Must possess a legal work permit in UK
