Inspection Supervisor

Inspection Supervisor Location: Glasgow Contract Length : Short Term Hours: 42 per Week Duties This is a proactive role whose purpose is to lead and manage efficiently and safely all aspects of Quality Inspections on site.
Management of day to day inspections, ensuring all work completed in a safe and compliant manner.
Management of shift communications to all key stakeholders.
Keep a log of completed checks.
Key Accountabilities Ensure adherence to Health & Safety, Environmental & Quality Standards.
Ensure compliance to HMRC regulatory standards within the area.
Own KPI targets across shifts.
Ensure all team members follow standard operating procedures.
React immediately to issues as they are exposed.
Lead on H&S.
Investigate fully all near misses, incidents, accidents on shift immediately.
Train and coach colleagues as required.
Experience Strong leadership and people management skills.
Minimum 3 years' experience working in a production, service or technical environment.
Excellent communication skills, good attitude and professional conduct are vital.
Essential: Experienced in data analysis, use of applications (Excel, Word, Teams etc.).
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills and ability to communicate at all levels.
Ability to organize a variety of tasks and prioritize self and others accordingly.
Experience and understanding of Compliance procedures.
Desirable: At least 3 years' experience in production management.
Ideally in a shift based FMCG manufacturing environment.
