As the Innovation and Transformation Lead within the highways industry, you will spearhead the identification and implementation of innovative solutions and service enhancements on the Surrey Highways Term Partnering Contract.
This role plays a pivotal part, helping the contracts operations and back office (both client and contractor) effectively adopt and implement necessary changes that improve the day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities; • Develop and maintain the Business Units innovation programme & Partnering timetable activities.
• Develop, maintain, analysis and report on the Contracts innovation Strategy and delivery plan.
• Challenge the status quo, think of new opportunities and work with a "service priority" approach.
• Keep management updated on innovation in the public realm space.
• Manage and report on the contracts innovation progress, managing all stakeholder engagement • Take the local corporate lead on innovation and improvements.
• Engage with the supply chain to capture innovation(s).
• Evaluate innovations and develop business cases to justify, or otherwise, their further development (showing value 'cashable and non-cashable for the contract and client).
• Evaluate relevant opportunities from a variety of sources aligned to our strategy and focus areas.
• Facilitate innovation workshops, briefings, other working sessions (including from external providers) in the dedicated Innovation Hub.
