Injection Moulding Setter Benefits: Rate of pay: £12.98 to £15.66 DOE Hours: Days 6am to 6pm Shifts: Continentals - 4 on, 4 of Location: Ripley Contract: Permanent Injection Moulding Setter Role: The Injection Moulding Setter is responsible for the setting up and running of injection moulding machines for production.
The injection moulding setter has responsibility for meeting production targets and quality standards and drive minimum scrap % on their line.
Injection Moulding Setter Main duties and responsibilities: Ensure that production requirements and standards are met consistently Ensure that all required quality checks are carried out as per the company standards Setting up injection moulding machines and running the machinery, including packing where required Adjusting machinery during its operation as required Carry out tool and material change overs as required Complete any applicable production paperwork and sign off sheets Operate machinery safely and effectively, in line with the correct operating procedures Report any machinery issues to management Work cooperatively with the production team to meet customer requirements and team targets Where applicable (depending on department) delegate relevant production tasks to team members such as removing scrap, fetching labels, printing works orders etc.
Maintain a clean and safe work area Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management Contribute to waste management programs Injection Moulding Setter Key Skills: Ability to problem solve Basic numeracy and literacy skills Good communication and listening skills Good attention to detail Ability to self-motivate Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team Injection Moulding Setter Criteria: Knowledge of manufacturing processes, especially the uPVC industry would be beneficial Requires an understanding of the entire production process Experience of injection moulding/tool setting is required Previous experience of working in manufacturing / uPVC / extrusion would be beneficial Qualifications in Machining or engineering would be beneficial Pro-Found Recruitment are an employment business and equal opportunities employer.
