Injection Moulding / Extrusion Tool Setter

Elevation Recruitment is partnering with a well-established Plastics company in Barnsley to hire a skilled Injection Moulding / Extrusion Tool Setter.
Location : Barnsley Salary : Up to £33k Shift Pattern : 3 Shift Rotation (Mornings, Afternoons, Nights) Key Responsibilities : Set up, adjust, and maintain extrusion / injection moulding machines to meet production standards Perform tool changes efficiently to minimize downtime Monitor machinery to ensure consistent product quality Keep the work area clean and organised Work closely with the quality team to ensure finished products meet quality standards Adjust machine parameters to sustain production levels Troubleshoot moulding issues Promptly report any issues to line managers Ensure production targets are met on time Requirements : Previous experience in operating and setting extrusion / injection moulding machinery, within the plastics industry Strong knowledge of PVC processing and extrusion / injection moulding techniques Good understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control procedures Attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills and the ability to follow technical instructions
