Infrastructure Manager - Manchester

Manchester City Centre, Manchester, United Kingdom Region North West Description This organisation are going through a sustained period of growth and are looking for a strong, hands on IT Manager to join a talented technology team.
You'll be a proven leader, with experience of managing medium sized infrastructure and a mixture of IT support / analysis staff.You will also be capable of managing a number of 3rd party suppliers.
There's a team of infrastructure support staff that look after a hybrid on-prem/cloud based infrastructure.
You'll be comfortable leading teams of people with solid Windows Server, VMWare and Azure experience.
You will enjoy the hands on approach as you'll be required to support the team with project work, and be critical in dealing with escalations.
Security also sits underneath the remit of this role.
There is an outsourced SOC for formal defensive security, but you'll be required to manage day to day cyber risks and make sure that the business works in line with cyber essentials.
Peripheral technical experience of Network Security, Linux/Unix and SQL Server would be beneficial.
This is a great, blended role that requires robust leadership and technical skills.
The salary in offer is between £60-70,000 plus great benefits.
You'll be required on site in Manchester (parking provided) 3 days a week.
