Job Overview Our client is looking for a hands-on Infrastructure Engineer with a strong DevOps background and at least 5 years of practical experience.
The candidate should be adept at designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable infrastructure solutions, with a focus on automation, continuous integration, and delivery.
The core providers/technologies are AWS, Cloudflare, Gitlab, Kubernetes, Go, PostgreSQL and run backend infrastructure for online gaming providers 24/7.
Primary Responsibilities: Design and manage cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes using IaC tools Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure changes Monitor system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability Cost control and forecasting on cloud infrastructure Collaborate with development teams to optimise the SDLC Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues Ensure security best practices are integrated into the infrastructure Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure engineering with a DevOps approach Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages Experience with cloud services and containerization technologies Ability to document infrastructure and systems in an efficient manner Strong understanding of network and system architecture Preferred Qualifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS, Kubernetes, Hashicorp) Experience with infrastructure monitoring and logging tools Knowledge of coding and scripting for automation purposes Additional: Practical, hands-on approach to problem-solving Willingness to be on-call for critical infrastructure support Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment The ideal candidate will be a proactive, self-motivated individual with a passion for DevOps culture and practices.
