IT Manager
Location: South East
Salary: Up to £55,000
About the Role: We are working with a growing hospitality group that is seeking a talented and forward-thinking IT Manager to join their team and play a pivotal role in shaping their technology infrastructure.
This group offers a collection of unique inns, pubs, and restaurants.
As the IT Manager, you will lead the development and management of the company's technology systems to ensure seamless operations, robust security, and support the group's ambitious growth.

Key Responsibilities: The IT Manager will develop and drive the IT strategy, ensuring it supports the group's long-term goals.
They will identify and implement technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency, improve productivity, and elevate the guest experience.
They will oversee the management of all IT systems, including hardware, software, servers, networks, and cloud-based services, ensuring everything operates smoothly, especially during peak periods.
The IT Manager will also ensure robust data backup, disaster recovery, and failover procedures are in place.
The IT Manager will lead efforts to safeguard the company's digital assets, ensuring compliance with relevant data protection regulations.
They will conduct regular security assessments, identify potential risks, and implement necessary safeguards to protect against evolving cyber threats.
They will manage relationships with external IT vendors and suppliers, overseeing contracts, negotiating terms, and ensuring the best technology solutions are in place to meet business needs.
The IT Manager will take charge of IT projects, managing them from initiation to completion.
They will ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget while remaining adaptable to changing requirements using agile project management methodologies.
The IT Manager will provide support to users across the business, helping with IT-related issues and delivering training on new systems.
They will also ensure clear and accessible documentation is maintained to support everyday operations.
Skills and Experience Required: Proven experience managing IT infrastructure, networks, and systems in a fast-paced environment, ideally within the hospitality sector.
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and experience ensuring systems are secure and compliant with industry regulations.
Excellent project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously and deliver them successfully.
A proactive problem solver with the ability to think strategically and implement effective technology solutions.
Strong communication skills, able to collaborate effectively across departments and with external suppliers.
Familiarity with Zonal and HLS systems (or similar) is highly desirable.
