An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT Manager to join a leading biotech organisation focusing on the delivery of genomic medicine, based in the Manchester area.
As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation and alignment of IT infrastructure with the company's strategic goals.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Your duties as the IT Manager will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities will be as follows:
1.
Manage and maintain positive working relationships with IT Service Providers ensuring cost-effectiveness.
2.
Align internal IT infrastructure with current and future business requirements and goals.
3.
Managing IT budgets and forecasts.
4.
Evaluating risk, developing network recovery and backup processes.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS: To be successful in your application to this IT Manager opportunity, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1.
A working knowledge and practical experience with LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems) and IT infrastructure.
2.
Strong experience of managing IT service providers
3.
A background in IT Management from the Life Sciences industry (Biotech / Pharma / Med Device / Manufacturing)
