What we're looking for: We are seeking a qualified manufacturing engineer with a robust background in manufacturing processes and techniques, along with a demonstrated ability in project delivery and management.
Previous experience in aerospace or defence sectors, especially in manufacturing or supplier quality, is highly advantageous.
The role involves assisting suppliers and clients in developing resilient manufacturing systems and control plans to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality products on schedule and within budget.
Experience with new project introduction (NPI) and/or manufacturing capability transfer is preferred.
Proficiency in industrial validation tools such as process FMEAs, measurement system analysis, process mapping, Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) assessments, and production readiness reviews is essential.
Strong problem-solving skills are necessary to conduct root cause analyses and implement improvement plans for manufacturing system deviations within the supplier chain.
Excellent communication abilities are critical for fostering effective collaboration across design, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality teams.
