An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IndustrialPlacement Student to join our team at Cowick Hall, East Yorkshire for 12 monthsfrom August 2025.
The successful candidate will work on analytical research anddevelopment projects working alongside our Functional Ingredients Synthesisteam.
The role will involve the development of new spectroscopic andchromatographic test methods to use in the screening of our new products aswell as data generation and interpretation.
Duties will involve practical analyticallaboratory work, equipment maintenance and report writing.
The project workcarried out during the placement will be of sufficient academic complexity tomeet the requirements of a university industrial placement degree course.

Essentials: You should have good laboratory skills and be able to communicate effectively both in reports and verbally.
You will need to be a self-motivated individual with the ability to manage and plan your own workload.
Team work, attention to detail and good problem analysis skills are essential for this role.
You will have an A Level in Chemistry and be working towards a 2.1 in a Chemistry/Cosmetic Science/Biochemistry or related degree.
