The Company: The Partnership of Care is an established Care Provider in South Wales delivering high quality specialist care and support in Domiciliary, Residential, Supported Living and Daytime Opportunity Service settings.
The company works in partnership with Mysa Care which provides Residential and Nursing Care and Support in two North and South Regions.
We are looking for an Induction and Qualification Officer to join an experienced team at Alexander House, Llanbradach.
Main Duties of the Induction and Qualification Officer Delivering the induction day which includes PowerPoint of who we are, what we do, policies etc.
to new starters.
Delivering what the role of a support worker entails.
Delivering basics of health-related issues that people with LD are prone to.
Explaining the buddy system and allocating buddies from each team, then collecting the books in after the 6-week buddy period for sign off.
Checking in with new starters and signing off at the end of the buddy period.
Choosing buddies and meeting with them to explain what they expect off them and training on how to complete the booklets.
Working with new starters to enrol with SCW, and support with the application.
Set up weekly meetings with staff to work through the SCW workbooks.
Liaise with QCF providers to sign staff up to the qualifications.

The role of Induction and Qualification Officer is office based.
Part time: 20 hours a week.
