Indirect Tax Consultant

The Consultancy Group have partnered with an International Consumer business who are looking to recruit an Indirect Tax Consultant to join their Tax team.
As a member of the UK Tax team, this Indirect Tax Consultant role will play a pivotal role by supporting the business on all Indirect Tax matters.
Reporting to the Head of Tax, duties will include: Supporting the business on all Indirect Tax matters, including excise duties and VAT Preparation of supporting working papers including assembly of data into tax returns and payment calculations Extensive liaison with internal stakeholders, information providers, external advisers, and revenue authorities Analysis of outputs from across the wider business, ensuring accuracy from accounting systems and key stakeholders Ad-hoc Advisory and Consulting projects Supporting compliance including process control design and testing This role will provide the successful candidate with an excellent opportunity to be involved in a broad portfolio of taxes, thereby offering an excellent springboard for future progression.
The successful candidate will already have experience with Indirect Tax, ideally gained within a fast moving and consumer centric environment.
They will have proven negotiation skills alongside excellent organisational ability and be keen to progress within an Internationally renowned brand.
