Closing Date (MM/DD/YYYY):01/24/2025Worker Type:PermanentLanguage(s) Required:EnglishTerm Duration (in months):Salary Range (plus eligible to receive a performance based incentive, applicable to position) :$90,710 - $122,726Passion for Indigenous engagement and inclusion rewardedCollaborate with internal partners to promote Indigenous engagement and inclusion within FCC, enhancing internal processes and systems to deliver on the Indigenous Relations strategy and Indigenous Reconciliation Action Plan.You'll support internal initiatives that will improve how FCC expands to support Indigenous Peoples and communities in the agriculture and food space.
Plus, you'll conduct research and analysis, providing recommendations to develop and improve our internal programs.What you'll do:Collaborate with internal partners to execute on internal Indigenous Relations plansSupport projects and programs that attract and retain Indigenous talent and enhance employees' Indigenous knowledgeFind opportunities and make recommendations to improve our Indigenous Relations strategy and processesCollaborate with Brand and Marketing on Indigenous creative projects and collateralConduct research on organizations that are leaders in Indigenous Relations and recommend how FCC can adapt our internal programsSupport reporting and analytics requirements, including assisting with integrated reporting and providing insights to key stakeholdersWhat we're looking for:Collaborative team player who supports business areas with a one-team approachCreative thinker with the ability to provide solutions and find opportunitiesOrganizational pro with excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple prioritiesRelationship-builder passionate about helping others achieve their goalsExcellent communicator with impeccable interpersonal, presentation, written and verbal communication skillsAnalytical mindset with the ability to synthesize research findings into actionable insightsWhat you'll need:A bachelor's degree in social sciences, business or commerce and four to six years of experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)Experience working with and for Indigenous social and economic development prioritiesDeep knowledge of Indigenous community structures and the history and current challenges facing Indigenous agricultureA passion for advancing Indigenous food security and financial sovereignty
