Independent Reviewing Officer/Conference Chair

Opus people solutions on behalf of Telford And Wrekin Council have an exciting opportunity for a Independant Reviewing Officer/Independant Chair to join thei team.
Length of assignment: 3 Months Hours per week: 37 Hourly rate: £38 Location: Remote/Office based: To review plans for children and young people who are in need of protection, in the care of the Council or who are Care Leavers.
To provide effective independent oversight of children's care.
To monitor the performance by the Local Authority of their functions in relation to children's cases and where necessary to challenge poor practice.
· To support the Council's visions and priorities both internally and externally · To assist the Team Manager in planning team and service objectives · To identify and highlight resource issues to the Team Manager · To assist the Team Manager in ensuring that team and service objectives are delivered in the most cost effective manner, minimising waste To assist the Team Manager in ensuring that the team and service meets their objectives and targets within agreed timeframes · To deliver standards which achieve equality of opportunity If you thrive to make a difference and have 3 years Social worker experience and this is the role for you, then we would love to hear from you.
