Job DescriptionAn exciting opportunity has arisen to expand our large clinical team and help us reach underserved communities struggling with substance misuse in Scunthorpe.If you are a first level Registered Nurse or a Registered Pharmacist who thrives working in a community setting, assessing and supporting people with their healthcare issues, this might be just the role for you.With You is all about working with our clients to find the right path for them to get back to where they want to be and you will play an important role in that journey.You'll work closely with the Operational & Clinical Leadership along with our Recovery Workers to ensure that the clinical and psychosocial needs of the individual are met and that prescribing is safe, effective and in accordance with best practice whilst meeting the individual needs of the client.

About the jobYou will be eager to keep up to date with developments in the treatments that you are prescribing and help With You to develop, implement and evaluate the interventions we use with our clients.
These include: harm reductionproviding support and advice in relation to substance misuse clinics; where we assess and review prescribed treatment plans advise on detoxification vaccination and blood testing programmes It's not just about those people who actively engage with our service though - you will also be reaching out to those in our communities to offer proactive support and education.Required SkillsTo be effective is this job you will: be a Registered General Nurse, Registered Mental Nurse or a Registered Pharmacist (GPhC)have successfully completed the supplementary/independent prescriber course and hold an appropriate entry on the NMC register or GPhC registerbe able to demonstrate OST prescribing experiencebe able to evidence your continuous professional developmenthave a successful track record of delivering nursing interventions in a community settingbe able to demonstrate your experience of healthcare assessments, care planning and key workingbe able to evidence peer working or working within a multi-disciplinary team, and collaborating with external agencieshave knowledge of the issues affecting substance misusers, including the impact on their wider healthDesirable SkillsAbout The CompanyEveryone should feel comfortable getting the support they need for issues with drugs, alcohol or mental health.At We Are With You we work with people on their own goals, whether that's staying safe and healthy, making small changes or stopping an unwanted habit altogether.
