Independent Living Officer £ 27,403.80 p.a (37 hours) working Monday - Friday, 8am-4pm with a 12pm-8pm shift on a rota basis (1 week in 5) The Independent Living Officer (ILO) will work in a variety of settings including, but not limited to our Head Office - Harbour House, Independent/Extra Care Living schemes, community facilities and customers' homes.
You will be responsible for delivering housing management support functions to older people both in our Independent Living properties and CGA homes.
The role supports a holistic approach to independent living and the ILO will work closely with a number of our customers to ensure they have the best quality of life and are able to stay in their homes for as long as they can through the provision of a service which is centred around the person and their wellbeing.
The ILO will also provide an emergency response service to our customers during weekdays, working a rota system, with occasional weekend work required to support community events.

Experience of working with older or vulnerable people and supporting people with complex needs, including mental ill health, substance dependency and dementia.
Experience of dealing with challenging behaviour.
A good understanding of Health and Safety.
A driving licence and access to a car for business use.
