As an ambitious Council, this role is absolutely crucial to maintaining robust and transparent governance practices, ensuring that our services are delivered in a carefully managed way and provide value for money for residents and businesses.
As an advisory position, the Independent Member will play a key role in providing independent and objective advice and scrutiny on governance, risk, financial management and audit.
With an allowance of £200 per meeting attended, this role represents a fantastic opportunity to make a difference and get involved in shaping the future of local government.
The position will be held in intervals of two years, for a maximum of four years.
