About this Role The setting is a special academy based in Huddersfield, educating children and young people with complex Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties across Kirklees.

The Role As a School Inclusion Support Worker (ISW), you will provide more than classroom support.
You will build meaningful relationships, make connections, and help pupils navigate toward a brighter future.
Key responsibilities include: Preparing the classroom for lessons.
Supporting pupils during class.
Assisting those who require additional support.
Maintaining and updating pupil records.
Leading specific activities and sessions.
Providing structured learning routines at school, in the community, and at home.
The Candidate We are looking for candidates who: Have experience working in a school or similar setting.
Ideally, have experience supporting children or young people with SEN or SEMH needs.
Hold GCSE qualifications in Maths and English (or equivalent).
Are car drivers with access to their own vehicle (or are willing to learn).
Salary and Hours Starting salary: £21,903.70 (actual annual salary).
Working hours: 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term-time only (plus 5 inset days).
