Our client, a luxury global business, is looking for an experienced commercial contracts paralegal / lawyer to join their in-house legal team and support the General Counsel with a wide range of legal work.
You will be dealing with a variety of commercial contracts, IP and trademarks, litigation, real estate, and corporate work.
A solid background in commercial contract law is essential as this will be a large part of the role.
A selection of duties and responsibilities:
Managing the global IP portfolioDrafting commercial agreements, and reviewing and negotiating contracts and media rights agreementsLiaising with counselWriting in-house policies and providing advice on regulatory mattersDealing with any litigationManaging the business' property portfolioIt is essential that you are motivated and driven, with over two years' experience dealing with commercial contracts, and ideally some experience in IP work.
General corporate and property experience would also be beneficial, although not essential.
Additionally, you must be a confident communicator, have excellent academics, and strong drafting skills.
