As a Import Ocean Operator, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of cargo across the globe.
You'll be responsible for a range of tasks, including: Customs Clearance: Chasing and securing customs clearance documents.
Documentation: Collecting and verifying all necessary documentation.
Logistics Coordination: Arranging haulage and liaising with shipping lines and hauliers.
Customer Service: Resolving customer queries and complaints.
Financial Management: Processing invoices and ensuring timely payments.
System Usage: Utilising our operational systems, such as One World, to track and manage shipments.
What We're Looking For: Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in Seafreight operations.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of freight terms, documentation requirements, and post-arrival procedures.
Skills: Proficient in calculating costs and charges, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Attitude: A positive and proactive approach, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
