Import/Export Coordinator

Import/Export Coordinator £17.50p/hr PAYE 12 Months Cambridge 37 hours per week Inside IR35 We're looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Import/Export Coordinator to join our client's logistics team.
This role is essential in ensuring the smooth and compliant movement of goods in and out of the country.
You will work closely with internal teams, external vendors, and government authorities to manage import and export activities, ensuring compliance with all regulations while maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
Role Responsibilities • Coordinate the import and export of goods, ensuring compliance with all customs regulations and company policies.
• Prepare and review shipping documentation (e.g., bills of lading, certificates of origin, commercial invoices) to ensure accuracy and compliance with international trade regulations.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other third-party service providers to facilitate smooth and timely shipments.
• Maintain records of all import and export transactions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including HMRC and international trade agreements.
• Manage customs clearance processes and ensure accurate tariff classifications and duty calculations.
• Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues related to delays, documentation errors, or customs holds.
