Import Customer Success Specialist

Details of the offer

Due to internal progression we have an opening to join our growing Import team in Manchester.
This crucial role involves coordinating the movement of import ocean shipments from beginning to end, including customs clearances support and deliveries.
You will also be responsible for developing strong relationships with our customers, ensuring their needs are met and helping to maximise the client experience.

Primary Responsibilities Freight Forwarding Processes : End-to-end working knowledge of freight forwarding processes and procedures.
Customs Clearance : Manage customs clearance requirements efficiently.
Customer Relationship Development : Build and maintain excellent relationships with clients.
Internal Collaboration : Work closely with internal teams to ensure client KPIs are achieved and exceeded.
Profitability Management : Oversee shipment profitability and margin management.
Customer Portfolio Management : Manage your portfolio of customers in line with agreed operating procedures.
Team Support : Collaborate with team members and provide support and cover during absences.
Skill & Experience Background in freight forwarding / logistics with experience in customs clearance.
High levels of customer service and a passion for client satisfaction.
Ability to work well within a team environment.
Robust time management and organizational skills.
Confident and articulate communicator.
Good commercial awareness and business acumen.
Knowledge of Cargowise preferable Our Working Environment We offer a hybrid working environment, requiring on average 3 days per week in our Manchester office for collaboration and team meetings.
