Import Administrator Great Manchester c. £27,000 + Benefits A fantastic opportunity to join an established Fashion brand at their Head Office based in Manchester.
They are looking to appoint an Import Administrator to join the team.
Responsibilities Include: Managing & build strong working relationships with freight forwarders Liaising with Far East factories, updating with delivery schedules Weekly warehouse Intake bookings Perform regular analysis, reconciliations Airfreight quotes and approval requests Provide clearance instructions to Freight Fowarders Book collections with freight forwarders and couriers.
Liaise with shipping providers & advise Buying & Merchandising teams with shipping deadlines Collating import documentation to allow customs authorisation.
Adhere to all country specific shipping compliance regulations and keep updated with changing legislations Airfreight quotes and approval requests Key requirements for this role: Previous experience in Import Administration / Merchandising / Supply Chain Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively at all levels.
Highly accurate with a good attention to detail Strong numerical skills with the ability to analyse data.
Ability to manage a varied workload.
